Tanzania, Trinidad, and the United States, FSALA15 is an international festival with a difference. First started in 2009, the FSALA festivals are organized every two years to be a corrective to many “international” festivals that focus on European and North American writing. Special features are pertinent, sometimes urgent literary discussions and one session on writing in languages other than English. This year the languages featured, besides English, will be Hindi, Punjabi, Swahili, Tagalog, and Urdu. More at www.fsalatoronto.com
